Introducing the Genesee Wall of G.O.A.T.s Contest!

For 75 seasons, Genesee Spring Bock has been the first true sign of spring in upstate New York—bold, rich, and brewed for the hard-working folks who earned their beer with grit and pride. To mark this milestone, we’re honoring not just the GOAT beer, but the GOAT people in our communities—the welders, brewers, mechanics, mentors, moms, veterans, volunteers, and legends who make their mark and lift others up.

To celebrate the unseen grinders who make their communities great, we’ll invite our supporters to nominate their local heroes to be honored on a G.O.A.T. Wall inside of the Genesee Brew House, and a social/digital campaign, launched with pride for the 75th Anniversary of Spring Bock. A tribute built by the people, for the people. All nominees must be Genesee supporters and over the age of 21 to be considered.

Genesee has always stood for hard work and pride in doing things the right way, and this contest is about seeing and celebrating that grind in a real, local, and meaningful way.

ELIGIBILITY: The Genesee Wall of G.O.A.T.s Contest (“Contest”) begins at approximately 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 01/19/2026 (“Start Date”) and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 02/16/2026 (“End Date”) (“Promotion Period”). Contest is open to New York residents who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. This Contest is sponsored by Genesee Brewing Company, Rochester, New York (“Sponsor”). Employees of Sponsor along with their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising, promotional and judging agencies (collectively, “Released Parties”), any person affiliated with the alcoholic beverage industry, including but not limited to retailers of alcohol products, and their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, children, and siblings) and household members of each (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in or win the Promotion. Eligibility is limited to natural individuals and therefore not open to corporations, LLCs or other business organizations, non-profits, or any groups, clubs or organizations. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.

HOW TO ENTER: There is one (1) way to enter this Contest.

VIA WEB: To enter the Contest, during the Promotion Period, visit the website www.geneseebeer.com/wall-of-goats, and fill out the hyperlinked form. This form will also be posted across social media on all Genesee Instagram, Facebook and X pages. The form will ask the following questions:

If you do not own a smart device, you may enter via the internet. No purchase is necessary to enter. There is no cost from the Sponsor to enter this Contest, but your cell phone carrier’s data rates may apply. Other charges may also apply; check your cell phone plan for details. No beer purchase is necessary to participate. Limit of one (1) entry per person (the “Entry”) Entries made using automated entry devices of any kind will be disqualified. Eligible entries must be received by the close of the Promotion Period.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Each Entry that is submitted to this Contest must comply with the following Submission Guidelines to be eligible. Any Entry that, in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, violates these Official Rules or the Submission Guidelines below will be disqualified and/or will not be eligible to win. By participating in this Contest, entrant grants Sponsor permission to use: (a) his/her name, likeness, and photograph, (b) the names, likenesses, and photographs of the other persons appearing in the Entry for future advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless restricted by law. Such future advertising and publicity may include, but is not limited to, Sponsor’s future social media posts and point of sale material.

The Entry must NOT, in the sole discretion of Sponsor:

A. Contain content that violates or infringes upon another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, trademark or copyright infringement), without permission;
B. Disparage Sponsor or its products or services, Sponsor’s competitors or their products or services, or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest;
C. Contain company names, product names, brand names or trademarks other than those owned by Sponsor, which participant has a limited license to use for this Contest;
D. Contains the names, likenesses, or other indicia identifying any celebrities and/or other public or private figure, living or dead, without permission;
E. Contain content that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, profane, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous, controversial or libelous;
F. Contain content that displays or promotes illegal drug use, irresponsible alcohol use, bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
G. Contain content that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to applicable laws or regulations;
H. Contain any photograph or reference to any person under twenty-one (21) years of age; and/or contain content in which the Sponsor does not wish to associate themselves with, in their sole discretion.

JUDGING CRITERIA: Sponsor will review all eligible Entries and will select Ten Winners (“Winner”) that, reflect the most core values of Genesee; grit, pride, resourcefulness, and perseverance. Those who show love in their communities but often go unnoticed and unseen.

PRIZES AND DRAWINGS: On or around 2/28/2026 and subject to confirmation of eligibility, there will be a total of ten (10) winners (“Winner”) selected from a pool of all eligible entries received. Each Winner will be notified by phone, text-message, email or direct message and entrants hereby consent to such notification by entering into this Contest. The Winner will be required to respond to the Sponsor within seventy-two (72) hours of the original message. If Sponsor does not hear from Winner within said seventy-two (72) period Sponsor will select another Winner. The Winner will be awarded the following prize (the “Prize”):

The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the each individual Prize is $504.48. The Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) for all prices is $5,044.80. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Prize will be awarded unless Sponsor cannot obtain documentation from a potential Winner to prove eligibility in a timely manner or the other conditions described in these rules are not met, in which case the Prize may not be awarded. Winner is responsible for all costs and expenses incurred that are not specifically stated as being included as part of the Prize including, but not limited to, all taxes, surcharges, and all other costs and expenses not specifically stated as being included. No alcohol is being awarded as a Prize.

CONDITIONS: Sponsor need not inform you if you have earned an entry or not. All Federal, State, and local laws apply. Incomplete entries, entries generated by script, macro or other automated means, or entries which subvert the entry process, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, will not be eligible. All entries must be received during the Promotion Period and comply with these rules and the Submission Guidelines to be eligible. Message and data rates may apply. The computer clock of the webmaster hosting the Contest is the official timekeeping device. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value or with a company check in the amount of the ARV for the Prize. If requested, Winner must return to Sponsor a signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If Sponsor is unable to receive personal confirmation from a Winner of being selected as a Winner within three (3) days from the first notification attempt, or if a Winner (i) fails to complete and return all requested documents or timely respond to Sponsor’s questions by the date specified by the Sponsor, (ii) is found to be ineligible, or (iii) fails to comply with the Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as shown or described. No substitutions are allowed and the Prize may not be transferred, conveyed or auctioned. Prizes will be awarded unless Sponsor does not receive required documents in a timely manner in which case all Prizes may not be awarded. The acceptance or use of the Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Winner’s name and address (city and state) for promotional purposes on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation. All federal, state and other taxes are the responsibility of each Winner. Sponsor does not provide tax advice. Winner must be 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Winner must confirm all event attendees are 21+. Winner agrees to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its respective parent companies and affiliates and its respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, from any claims due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property, resulting in whole or in part from acceptance or use of the Prize, or participation in the Contest. No purchase is necessary. A purchase will not increase chances of winning. Becoming a fan or clicking the “Like” button on the Sponsor’s page does not constitute an entry into this Contest and it will not increase changes of winning. Following the Genesee social media accounts does not constitute an entry into this Contest and it will not increase chances of winning. Message and data rates may apply if using a mobile device. ENTRANT WARRANTY AND RELEASE: Each entrant warrants that they are eligible to participate in this Contest and has the legal capacity to agree to the terms of these Official Rules. Winner agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, injuries, losses, or damages to any person (including death) or property, arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, use, and/or misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activity, and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or any other intellectual property related cause of action.

LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY: Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, jumbled, incorrect, or inaccurate entries, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest or by any human error. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction(s) of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or other services, providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website (including Survey Monkey, Instagram, Facebook and X), including, without limitation, any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error(s) in administration of the Contest, or in the selection/announcement of the prize Winners. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted where Sponsor deems fit and the prizes will be awarded via random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up until and or after (if applicable) the time of modification, cancellation or termination, or in a manner that is fair and equitable as determined by Sponsor. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the mechanics or logistics of this Contest will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen Prizes. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of being conducted as planned because of tampering, intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other reason (each an “Intervening Cause”), which affects the security, fairness, or proper execution of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest or otherwise award the Prizes through a drawing from all eligible entries received which, in Sponsor’s discretion, were not affected by the Intervening Cause. With regard to the Prize being awarded, Sponsor makes no express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event that a court, or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction, shall hold any of the provisions of these Official Rules to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, such provisions shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Any disputes regarding this Contest shall be governed by New York State law and resolved in State or Federal court located in Monroe County, New York. Any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred but in no event attorneys’ fees. Entrant waives any claim for punitive, incidental and consequential damages. BY PARTICIPATING, EACH ENTRANT UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT THEY MAY BRING A CLAIM AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OR PROCEEDING.
